House envy...

This Mile End pad is available to hire for photo shoots and filming. The interior is really quirky, if a little too stagey, but it's a shame no one lives there as these surroundings would make me smile every morning.

Vivacious vases...

Usually the flowers are the starts of the mantlepiece/dresser/small otherwise useless table, but not if you invest in one of the Dusty Diamonds vases or pots by AEO Studio

And some more vasery:

Just be careful with them...

House envy...

Back to Australia this week for a lovely, elegant and light-filled offering. Feminine without being girly, although I feel the kitchen is a little bland and there are no photos of the bathrooms or bedrooms, which are always a greater test of personal style.

Luscious living spaces...

I've come over with a massive flush of living room envy, and would consider my first born a fair swap for any of these abodes.

Eccentric living...

What would you do if you had a time machine that could go back 15 years? I'd head to the East End and snap up many a Georgian terrace, as they were going for the same as a 1 bed flat in developed areas, and now they are some of the most expensive London housing stock around.
Someone who managed to snap one up for a song was Tim Knox, director of  Sir John Soane’s Museum, and his landscape gardener partner Todd Longstaffe-Gowan, who managed to acquire the then dishevelled Malplaquet House (a most awesomely named property). And have lovingly restored and adorned it, in properly eccentric style. Very Last Tuesday Society.

Good on so many levels...

Lofty expectations reach new heights this week, with Hector Ruiz Velazquez's space saving, multi platform design for an attic apartment in Madrid.
