And so to bed...

Man flu is setting in, so I'm hunkering down for a few days. Alas not on any of these.

Too funny...

If you haven't discovered "Regretsy", a blog detailing Etsy's more unfortunate specimens, it's well worth a google/giggle.
My favourite has to be this skinned mouse as a dolls house equivalent of a bearskin rug.

Spotlight on...

I'm not really writing this blog to flog stuff (so this isn't an official endorsement) but Rockett St George have some really quirky homewares in store (ok, it's a mixed bunch, but there are some gems and they are pretty reasonably priced. Plus Coggles sell the same branded items at double the price!

On the bandwagon...

Well, better late than never. Upcycling, when done well (in an intuitive, not a "worthy" way) can create some really stylish pieces. I'm not really one for trinkets or displayed ornaments (unless it's actually art, I favour function over form - less dusting). So I'm a big fan of making something that's beautiful but redundant into something useful. Like these stunning (and, erm, everywhere) old tennis racquets-turned-mirrors.

Less attractive, but still interesting alternate home uses for racquets:

Super chalets No.2...

So I had such staggering viewing figures for my last pimped-up chalet, I thought I'd include another one:
French interior architecture studio Bo Design have transformed the interior of the Chalet Cyanella, a newly renovated luxury chalet located in Megève, French Alps. For rent, if you should be so lucky.

Sinktastic...

I love GORE Designs innovative and unusual sink designs. Hand washing bliss.
And now they've started branching out into tables. Hooray.
